DM Drama: Instagram Model Spills the Tea on LeBron James

Rachel Bush explains what went down between her and the NBA star.

The 18-year-old Instagram model who put LeBron James on full blast earlier this week for sliding into her DMs decided to speak out and explain exactly what went down between them.
Rachel Bush caused a lot of trouble for the NBA all-star on Tuesday when she posted a screen shot of a message she got from James's official Instagram account, saying simply, "Hey what's up." On Wednesday, she called into the Billy Madison Show to explain exactly what happened. While she does say the message from LeBron is real, she admits it may not have been King James himself who pushed send. "He has a wife and two, three kids. He respects them, I respect him. They have certain people running their pages sometimes," she explains. "You get DMed by multiple people. That has been the scenario, where their friends or their manager have tried to talk to me pretending to be them."
The plot thickened when Bush was spotted hanging out courtside at the Cleveland Cavaliers' game on Tuesday night, fueling speculation that James flew her out in order to follow up on his Insta invitation. Also not what it seems, says Bush. She was actually at the game with her boyfriend, Jordan Poyer, who plays for the Cleveland Browns. While her appearance at the game looked suspicious (and surely was a distraction for James), it was pure coincidence.

Meanwhile, King James's wife, Savannah, was also at the game and all looked fine between them, so it looks like this DM drama is over — for now. But LeBron really should have a word with whoever holds on to his phone during games.
