Raven-Symoné Knows Black Twitter Hates Her
What would Black Twitter tweet about were it not for Raven-Symoné? The View co-host has become a favorite target of social media sharks, but she's not crying into her smartphone over the constant online shade.
“[Oprah Winfrey] told me that Black Twitter’s going to hate me forever. She was right,” Symone admits good-naturedly to Us Weekly. She's referring, of course, to that now-infamous interview with the media mogul during which she said "I'm not African-American."
“I love you, Oprah. She’s like everybody’s rich aunt. She’s really close to you, but she’ll never give you any of her money,” Raven jokes.
Of course, that wasn't the last time Raven has lit a fire on social media. From dissing Beyoncé to defending Rachel Dolezal, there's pretty much no line the former child star won't cross.
At least now she's getting paid to spout her controversial views. By all accounts, Raven's doing a great job reinvigorating The View!
