Columbus Short Ordered to Stay Away From Bar Fight Victim

Scandal star charged with felony aggravated battery last month.

Scandal star Columbus Short has been ordered to stay away from a man he reportedly assaulted during a bar fight last month.

The actor was charged with felony aggravated battery in late March after a judge issued a warrant for his arrest. Short is said to have punched a man in the face, leaving him bloodied and unconscious and with a broken nose. Short was released on $50,000 bail following his arrest.

The victim in the case is not interested in prosecuting and is instead seeking an out-of-court settlement, though it doesn't seem that one has been reached as yet.

If convicted of the assault, Short faces up to four years behind bars.
