No One's Laughing at Chris Rock's Lamar Odom Joke

The former NBA player is still critical, reportedly suffered 12 strokes.

Too soon, Chris. Way too soon.
Chris Rock was on the recieving end of the Internet's backlash this weekend after he posted a joke about Lamar Odom. Rock tweeted out a meme that has been making the rounds, depicting a bickering couple with the caption, “Here’s to Lamar Odom on being the first guy in history to have coke and hookers save his marriage.”

As previously reported, Odom and estranged wife Khloe Kardashian called off their divorce in the wake of his health scare.

Though Rock added the message, "Stay strong Lamar" to the meme, many of his followers think he went too far with the joke.

TWITTER REACTS TO LAMAR ODOM'S HOSPITALIZATION

Meanwhile, Odom's condition remains critical as the former NBA player attempts to recover from a near-death overdose. Doctors at Cedars Sinai hospital discovered that he had a dozen strokes in the early days of his medical emergency, which will affect his motor and speech skills. Odom will have to undergo months of physical therapy, with no guarantee he will ever function normally again. He is also having continued dialysis to maintain his kidney function, which became gravely compromised as a result of his three-day drug and alcohol binge.
