Chris Rock's Ex: Keep the Checks Coming for Our African Daughter

Says the comedian needs to continue supporting the child.

Chris Rock and Malaak Compton-Rock's divorce took a strange new twist this week when it was revealed that a 7-year-old girl from South Africa had been living with their family since she was a baby. The comedian's ex already blasted him for not claiming the little girl (she's not his love child, FYI) even though the adoption process is already underway, and now Malaak is asking a judge to include her in their child support arrangement.
Apparently, Chris and Malaak pursued the adoption together, but now that they are separated, Malaak will continue to process alone. Still, she thinks Chris should keep the checks coming for baby girl Ntombi since he's been her sole provider all these years. TMZ reports that Malaak added Ntombi to her list of dependents, claiming she's been raised "as a member of the family and has been solely supported by [Chris and Malaak]."
Chris, meanwhile, only mentions their two biological daughters in his own documents, seemingly claiming zero responsibility for Ntombi.

Meanwhile, Malaak has responded to rumors that police have launched a full-scale criminal investigation against the Rocks for child trafficking and illegally harboring a child. Not even close, she says.
"The tabloid reports are false and outrageous. Malaak has never been contacted about an investigation of any sort," a statement from Compton-Rock's attorney reads. "The welfare and livelihood of this child has always been of utmost importance to the entire Rock family. She is in the United States lawfully with the written consent of her biological parents, with whom she continues to have contact."
According to People, a source says that not only is the guardianship on the up-and-up, the Rocks have been in regular contact with the little girl's parents in South Africa. "Chris and Malaak have visited with Ntombi's family multiple times in South Africa both before and after Ntombi came to the U.S.," the source claims.
Hopefully the Rocks will get a handle on this situation before the little girl gets hurt in the process.
