Guess How Far Kim and Kanye Went to Have a Boy

The reality star only implanted male embryos.

The world just learned that North is about to get a little brother, but what we didn't know is that her parents allegedly planned it that way. According to US Weekly, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West only had male embryos implanted to guarantee a lil' Yeezy.

The now pregnant reality queen, 34, and her hubby underwent IVF gender-selection process this spring to make sure that baby number two was the sex of their choice. "She only had boy embryos planted," a source close to the Selfish author said. "Kanye loves Nori more than anything, but to make his world complete, he wanted a little boy, an heir... Kim always wanted two kids. A girl and a boy."

Their determination to ensure a "perfect" pregnancy is not surprising as Kim has been pretty vocal about her long struggle to conceive a child the second time around. On E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians, she opened up about suffering from previous failed IVF attempts and even going to the ultimate lengths of hiring a psychic for advice.

Kim, who is now in her second trimester, made her official pregnancy announcement in a teaser for the reality show: "I just got the blood test back and I'm pregnant," she told her little sister Khloé Kardashian.

All science aside, we're super stoked to hear what they name their little man.

While we wait, check out Kanye accepting his award at the 2015 BET Honors, below:
