Tracy Morgan Shows Signs of Improvement Following Car Crash
Eight months have passed since Tracy Morgan was involved in a near fatal car crash that left him critically injured, but the 30 Rock star has since made steady progress towards making a full recovery and is eager to get back to work.
Morgan was seen heading into a New Jersey rehab facility on Wednesday, February 25, and showed promising signs of progress. According to Us Magazine, the actor/comedian was using a cane for support after exiting his car. While he waited for his fiancée and daughter, he rested on a bench outside of the building.
With eight months passing since Morgan has been active in both comedy and film, the funny man has been yearning to return to the spotlight: "If Tracy could be out, acting and doing what he loves, he would be — 100 percent," a source told Us. "But sadly, he just can't yet."
Morgan broke his leg, femur, nose, ribs, and also suffered from a scarring brain injury after his limo bus overturned at the New Jersey Turnpike last June. A Walmart truck driver was pegged as the main suspect of the crash. Though Morgan's life was spared, his friend James McNair unfortunately passed away.
The comedian has since filed a lawsuit against Walmart for "careless and negligent ownership and operation of its motor vehicle."
