Kris Jenner: Nicole Brown Warned Me OJ Would Kill Her

The momager says she "will always feel guilty" about friend's death.

Kris Jenner is still carrying around a lot of guilt over the murder of her best friend Nicole Brown, allegedly at the hands of her ex-husband OJ Simpson. Twenty years after Brown's death, the momager and reality star wishes she had done something to prevent it.

“At the end of Nicole’s life, I think she finally was at a place where she knew she had to be more vocal with what was going on and she was in trouble,” Kris said, according to ABC News. “The one thing she would tell all of us by the time, you know, it got to that level was, ‘He’s going to kill me and he’s going to get away with it.”’

At the time, Kris admits, she didn’t take the threats seriously and wonders if she could’ve saved her friend. "I will always feel guilty that I didn’t pay more attention and didn’t speak up when I thought anything was wrong or asked her more, 'Do you want to talk about it?'" she shared.

Of course, Kris’s late ex-husband Robert Kardashian was OJ’s defense lawyer during his high profile trial — something she has struggled with for the past twenty years. In her 2011 memoir Kris Jenner…And All Things Kardashian, she recalls thinking about Brown's words when she first learned about her murder. “I instinctively knew that in some way OJ had something to do with her death,” Kris wrote.

Meanwhile, though the trial ended two decades ago, OJ Simpson is still part of the zeitgeist. Fresh-Dressed director Sacha Jenkins is currently at work on his next documentary about Simpson and the murder charges.
