Tiffany Haddish Was Almost A Contestant On This Ratchet Reality Show

It's the series that started it all.

Tiffany Haddish is now, undoubtedly, a household name, to say the least, with many learning of her from her breakout role in the 2017 film Girls Trip.

What many didn't know, however, is that the comedian/actress' grand introduction to entertainment lovers could have actually come in the form of a ratchet reality TV series — actually the one that arguably started the craze that just about everyone has grown to love.

During an interview with Wired, while promoting her current film, Night School, with Kevin Hart, Haddish shared that she was almost a contestant on the historic VH1 reality TV competition Flavor of Love.

While answering the Web's most searched questions about herself, the comedian answered "no" to one that asked if she was Tiffany "New York" Pollard, who is most notoriously known for her stint on the show. Haddish did reveal, though, that while she auditioned to be a part of it, she quickly changed her mind after learning one key detail.

"But when I found it was Flavor Flav you had to be in the house with, I was like, 'Oh, no thank you. I don't want this job,'" she said.
