You know it's a bad day for Nick Gordon when the best possible outcome is that he only gets sued for $10 million. That's the figure Bobbi Kristina Brown's conservator Bedelia Hargrove has put on holding Gordon responsible for Brown's condition, which grows has sadly "deteriorated" significantly, according to her aunt Pat Houston.
The Fulton Country district attorney, however, may pursue a much harsher punishment for Gordon, who has been investigated by police for months for his role in the tragedy.

According to D.A. Paul Howard, prosecutors have "heightened interest" in the case now that the civil suit brought by Hargrove details allegations of physical abuse and theft, and that Brown has been moved to hospice care for her final days.
“In view of the new circumstances regarding the health status of Bobbi Kristina Brown, we will be reviewing the case with greater interest,” Howard told The Associated Press in a statement. If there are enough dots to connect and Brown does pass away as a result of his abuse, Gordon could face murder charges. Howard said charges, if any, would be made at “the appropriate time.” As of now, police have handed over their files to Howard's office.
Brown, 22, never regained consciousness after she was found unresponsive in her bathtub on January 30. Gordon and a friend of the couple called 911 that day, but Gordon has been banned from seeing his girlfriend since then. He since had a very public breakdown on Dr. Phil and checked himself into rehab at the TV therapist's urging. 
In her suit, which is on behalf of Bobby Brown and Pat Houston, Hargrove claims that Gordon beat up Bobbi Kristina, pulling her up a flight of stairs by the hair and punching in her teeth, the day before she was hospitalized. She also alleges that Gordon withdrew $11,000 from her account immediately after.
