Somebody better call Cookie because the Lyon family dynasty is in jeopardy! It's not the end of the world, but it is serious. Hint: did you watch anything other than CNN last night?

According to The Hollywood Reporter, ratings for the popular soap drama took a major dip. Wednesday night's episode had an average 2.9 rating in the key demo (adults 18-49), which was a crazy six-tenths of a point drop from its last original episode aired before the three-weeks long World Series.

The good news is that the show maintained its number-one slot as the most watched program of the night with an average of 8.1 million viewers. Hopefully, folks will feel a little better to watch the Lyons next week as the family's madness will most likely top that of our current national politics.
