LGBT Pride Promoter on Chris Brown: 'Shocked and Saddened'

Melissa Scott seeking legal counsel after Breezy denies bailing on event.

The promoter behind an LGBT Pride event who claims Chris Brown bailed on a scheduled appearance at the last minute repudiates Brown's story that he never agreed to the gig in the first place.
Traxx Girls founder and party promoter Melissa Scott is firing back after Breezy took to Twitter on Monday to deny ever being booked. “We are extremely disappointed Chris Brown did not show up to our annual Saturday night party during Pure Heat, Atlanta Black Gay Pride weekend," Scott says in a statement to Georgia Voice. "We negotiated a contract in good faith and paid the agreed upon deposit via wire transfer. We fully expected Mr. Brown to appear for our ladies and we are shocked and saddened that he would deny that we had an agreement. At this time, Traxx Girls is reviewing its options with Legal counsel.”
Scott claims Brown refused to show up for the appearance after he was told a handful of gay men were in the audience. He was replaced at the last minute by Fetty Wap. Brown says he wasn't aware of the event and never agreed to make an appearance, tweeting on Monday that he has "nothing but love and respect for the LGBT community."
Looks like the court's gonna decide this one. While some may not be surprised by Breezy bailing on a commitment, he's doing his best to convince the world he's a changed man. See his softer side on this clip from Punk'd, below:
