Almost a year into their marriage, Evan Ross and Ashlee Simpson are welcoming a baby girl into their family. People reports that the singer and actor became proud parents on July 30.

E! News also reports that they were surrounded by their entire extended family during the delivery process, and new dad Evan was positively overwhelmed after staying by his wife's side the entire time. "Their whole family was around to support them," a source said. "Evan was very emotional and loves Ashlee so much. He did not leave her side and wanted to go through this with her every step of the way. He can't wait to be a dad. He would do anything for Ashlee and now this baby girl. Ashlee is doing great and can't wait to get home to be with her family."

The couple announced that they were expecting back in December, and revealed in February that they were having a girl. This is Ross's first child and Simpson's second — she is already the mother to 6-year-old Bronx Mowgli, who she had with rocker Pete Wentz.
