Judge Rules on Rapper's $1 Million Rape Lawsuit Against L&HH's Karlie Redd

A decision's been made.

Good news for Karlie Redd.

According to theJasmineBRAND.com, the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star can breathe a sigh of relief as the $1 million lawsuit filed against her by a rapper claiming she spread false information about him has been thrown out.

Christopher Powe, also known as Pharaoh, hit Karlie Redd with a restraining order last year after claiming she was trying to ruin his reputation by saying he raped her.

However, on March 10, a final order was entered into the case, stating that the judge dismissed the entire motion. The site reports that the reason for the dismissal is a result of Powe's failure to serve the reality star with legal papers.

According to the judge, Powe had ample time — he was even granted multiple extensions — to serve her, but never followed through.

Back in 2016, Powe filed a police report stating that he and Karlie Redd were in a romantic relationship at the time, but got into a fight at an Atlanta hotel. He said she "went crazy" and threatened to spread false information about him raping her to the press.

He said, at the time of the altercation, he tried to leave the hotel room but the reality star allegedly locked herself in the bathroom with a few of his belongings, including two cellphones, which she allegedly said she was going to flush down the toilet.

Powe said he decided to then run to get hotel security, but by the time they got to the room, Karlie Redd had already fled, but left his belongings behind. She eventually responded soon after, saying she feared for her safety and caught him taking photos of her while she was asleep, which he was trying to deny.

This all ultimately led to Powe suing Redd for slander and spreading rumors about him to the press. He demanded the $1 million in damages, a retraction and an apology from her. In the end he came out empty-handed.
