X-Men Director Bryan Singer Sued for Molesting Teen

Filmmaker says allegations are full of lies.

Bryan Singer, the A-list director behind the X-Men movie franchise, is being sued by a 30-year-old man who claims the filmmaker molested him when he was a teenager.
According to TMZ, the lawsuit claims the then-teen was lured to a Hollywood party by Singer, 48. The party reportedly had a reputation for featuring "sexual contact between adult males and the many teenage boys who were present for the parties." It goes on to say Singer plied the boy with alcohol and the promise of a role in one of his upcoming X-Men movies.
The filmmaker's lawyer Marty Singer (no known relation) says, "The claims made against Bryan Singer are completely without merit.  We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit."

The attorney adds, "It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity at a time when Bryan's new movie is about to open in a few weeks."
Singer's latest film, X-Men: Days of Future Past, is set to be released on May 23. The film stars Halle Berry, Jennifer LawrenceMichael Fassbender and others.
