Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Ditch the Compass for Second Baby Name
Those hoping that soon-to-be second-time parents Kim Kardashian and Kanye West would go "South" when naming their new bundle of joy are in for some disappointing news. The couple has officially chosen to ignore the directional inspiration the second time around, reports TMZ.
According to the site, a close source revealed that there is no chance that KimYe will be finding inspiration from a compass for the name, as they did with firstborn, North. Reportedly, the main reason that they're going a different route is because they want the new name to be strong on its own merit. They've seemingly achieved that with North, seeing as it signifies that it's "always on top" and pointing upwards — they want their second-born's name to have the same sting.
TMZ continues that the couple is, believe it or not, leaning towards something more traditional, with a possible family-related influence. But don't expect them to follow the famous Kardashian "K" trend. They are apparently looking for something more in tune with their late parents' names.
Since Kim officially announced her pregnancy, fans of the couple have been tossing up bizarre — yet hilarious — name choices: from South West to Easton.
The reality star is due in December.
