Kevin Hart Reacts to Getting Clowned by Dave Chappelle

He was mentioned in the comedy vet's Netflix special.

It's a pretty big deal to be referenced in an iconic comedian's stand-up special, and when that comic is Dave Chappelle, it's that much better.

According to Complex, Kevin Hart found himself being one of the subjects in Chappelle's Netflix comedy special, The Age of Spin, and it didn't hurt that the joke was actually one of praise and not slander.

During the routine, Chappelle basically said that the Let Me Explain actor/comedian is so rich that he was "the first comedian that a Drake song could be about." He went on to add that "Kevin could walk around his house and sing 'All Me' and the whole song would still be true."

After learning of the honorable mention, Kevin took Twitter to show his appreciation:

Chappelle wasn't wrong about his A-list peer, though, as he was ranked the highest paid comedian of 2016.

Also, it's not surprising that he was here for the joke seeing as he notes Chappelle as one of his favorite comedic inspirations alongside Eddie Murphy and Richard Pryor.

Speaking of Chappelle's comedic return, see the massive success of The Age of Spin in the BET Breaks video, above.
