While Kandi Burruss's friendship with her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star Phaedra Parks is now broken beyond repair, new reports indicate that the former Xscape member is heading back to court as she recently slapped her former employee with a counter suit, and Phaedra is allegedly involved.

According to theJasmineBRAND.com, Kandi filed documents highlighting the lawsuit against her former employee Johnnie Winston. She claims he defamed her during the filming of the reality show and is demanding damages for the "harm he caused her reputation."

She claims all of the accusations Winston made against her are false and a ploy to promote himself and remain relevant on the popular reality series.

In fact, she claims his allegations that he was not paid for his work by Burruss and her team were all false as he only made this known when they were shooting back in August 2016, months after he was terminated. In addition to this, she says his words were also in breach of the non-disclosure he signed when he was fired.

"Subsequently to the end of Mr. Winston's business relationship with Kandi Koated Entertainment, Mr. Winston would no longer have the access of ability to appear on RHOA that he previously enjoyed due to his prior business relationship with Kandi Koated Entertainment," the documents read.

As far as Phaedra Parks's involvement is concerned, Winston met with her on the show, though she never represented him throughout this legal process, and Kandi claims he did so just to receive air-time.

During the scene where he met with Parks at her office, he shared with her details of checks he had received from Kandi, and her stealing his idea and turning it into her play, A Mother's Love, though he knew it was based on her relationship with her own husband and mother. In addition to this, he claims she also pushed him out of being involved in her newly opened restaurant.

Kandi is suing him for damages for the breach of the non-disclosure agreement and unspecified damages for the slander of her name and brand.
