She's Back: Kelly Ripa Basically Shaded Michael Strahan to His Face

The scorned host returned to LIVE! this morning.

It's been quite a dramatic week behind the scenes at LIVE! With Kelly and Michael. Last week, news broke that Michael Strahan decided to leave the show for a permanent gig on Good Morning America. Upon hearing the news, his co-host, Kelly Ripa, decided to "call in sick" for a few days and rumors of turmoil were flying.
Finally, on Tuesday morning, Ripa made her return to LIVE! and had quite a lot to say about what's been going down. "Thanks for welcoming me back to the show," she said to the audience. "The love, the show of support through this bizarre time has been overwhelming."
Aaaand that's where the shade began. "What transpired started a conversation about communication and respect in the workplace," she continued, while barely glancing at Strahan who stood just a few feet to her left. "I don't consider this just a workplace. I consider this my second home. We are family. Apologies have been made." The comment implies that Michael did just consider the job a workplace and wasn't communicating.
She then acknowledged Strahan's presence with a look that immediately had Twitter talking. "I am thrilled for Michael. I am thrilled for you. I... and we couldn't be prouder of you and everything we accomplished together," she said — but she didn't seem to be fooling anyone on social media:

Strahan isn't scheduled to join GMA full time until September, so it's going to be a long summer.
