Lawyered Up: Here’s How Tameka Foster Got Dragged Into Usher’s Herpes Scandal

More drama.

While Tameka Foster has made it clear she is, in no way, involved in her ex-husband Usher's latest scandal, new reports show that she is, inadvertently and indirectly connected.

According to theJasmineBRAND.com, the woman who is suing the "Moving Mountains" singer for $20 million, accusing him of exposing her to herpes, has hired Foster's attorney, Lisa West, to represent her in the suit against the singer. West famously represented Foster in her 2012 custody battle with the R&B singer over their children.

The woman in question, who has chosen to go by the name Jane Doe, filed a lawsuit earlier this month accusing Usher of causing her emotional harm and medical bills in addition to exposing her to the STD.

She said that their sexual relationship began in April when they had sexual intercourse with a condom. However, she added that just 12 days later, they were intimate again in New Orleans, unprotected.

Doe said she first learned of Usher's alleged status while reading the media's reports that he paid another woman over reportedly giving her herpes. This prompted her to get tested herself, and to her surprise, the test came back positive for the STD. She has since filed a suit seeking $20 million in damages for negligence, battery and emotional distress.
