After recent reports that a feud between Nia Long and Taraji P. Henson was brewing on the season three set on Empire broke, the allegations have only intensified.

Less than 24 hours after the initial claim, TMZ is reporting that things have gotten even worse and legal action is allegedly being taken.

In the far-fetched report, the site claims that the hair and makeup team on the set of Empire lodged a complaint against Long after a slew of allegedly rude exchanges — making it the first complaint in the show's history. According to the report, which cites "well-placed production sources," the actress also threatened to sue the hit TV series over an "improper goodbye."

This all comes after reports that the Love Jones actress was disrespectful and unprofessional throughout her course of filming.

Taraji P. Henson, the star of the show, was reportedly irate with Long after learning of how she treated the staff. The tension between the actresses allegedly got so thick that producers were pushed to find ways to shoot their scenes separately so they would not have to interact.

In addition to the claims of a diva attitude, TMZ's source claimed Long was "habitually late" and would have Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson waiting at times on set for 30 minutes for her arrival to commence shooting. When she would fail to show up, the producers would reportedly use a stand-in so that the cast could rehearse.

In regards to Long's lawsuit for the "improper goodbye," the site claims that it is a custom practice on set for guest stars to have their name announced once they complete their final scene, followed by a "thank you" and applause. Due to Howard allegedly having an allergic reaction, which led to his lip swelling, Long did not receive the usual guest-star farewell treatment and left while the assistant director was looking for Benadryl for Howard.

The site reports that while she made her exit, Long told someone in production she was going to sue the show as the "goodbye" was in her contract. Production sources allegedly claim otherwise.

The actress's rep spoke with TMZ again in response to the allegations.

"We stand by our comments this morning that Nia has always, and continues to be, a consummate professional on set," the rep said. "In respect to her working relationships with the cast, she came onto this project, in the first place, because of her long-standing friendship and professional relationship with Terrence Howard."

Proving that these claims are hard to believe, her rep revealed that the reports of complaints and a lawsuit are news to them.

"We are not aware of any complaint, suit or case against her from anyone involved in the show, and we find the timing of all of these stories to be very suspicious, given that the series returns tonight," the rep added. 

Nia Long's reps have continued to deny the flighty claims, saying they are all completely made up.
