Report: Omar Epps Is Being Sued For Allegedly Breaking An Actress' Arm

Donzaleigh Abernathy accuses the actor of negligence and assault and battery.

An actress is filing a lawsuit against Omar Epps and Paramount Pictures, alleging he was reckless and negligent during an incident that left her arm broken.

TMZ is reporting that Donzaleigh Abernathy, in documents acquired, claims that while on the set of "Shooter" Epps “completely deviated from the script” and “threw his left forearm with full force at (her) right arm,” breaking it.

The actress also alleges that Epps hurt her back when he dropped her on the floor, which resulted in a hospital visit.

Abernathy played the mother of Bob Lee’s best friend, Donny Fenn in a first-season storyline on the USA Network series. Fenn is later killed in the show by Issac Johnson, who is played by Epps.

Omar Epps and the film studio were sued for negligence and assault and battery, according to the legal docs. He has yet to publicly react to the lawsuit.
