Is Paris Jackson's New Boyfriend a Racist?

Find out why some fans are giving the drummer the side-eye.

Paris Jackson has a new 'do, new attitude and a new boyfriend to match. The heiress, who turns 18 next week, has reportedly been dating drummer Michael Snoddy, 26, for a few weeks, and things are getting serious between them. “It’s only been a couple of weeks, but they are together a lot,” the source tells Page Six. “They really like each other. It’s a real relationship, and things are moving fast.”
But some of Paris's fans aren't too happy with the match, after discovering a suspicious tattoo among all the ink on Snoddy's body. Apparently, there's a Confederate Flag buried in there somewhere. "There’s a difference between Southern pride and racism,” Snoddy — who describes himself on social media as "SOUTHERN MADE, HOLLYWOOD PAID" — replied in his defense.
The Confederate Flag isn't the only troubling piece of ink, though. He also has a tattoo in homage to the metal band Pantera, whose lead singer once threw up a Nazi salute and shouted "White Power!" at a show.
Still, Michael Jackson's daughter looks happy and in love with her new man:

Despite the questions about her new man, after she dropped off the radar for a few years to deal with her personal life, it's nice to see Miss Jackson looking happy and healthy again. Unfortunately, the Jackson kids may never be able to fully escape the tabloid life, but hopefully they'll continue to take it in stride:
