Several of our favorite celebs have suffered abuse.

Rihanna - With tabloids, news magazines and paparazzi, celebrity relationships are rarely private. But some of our biggest stars have silently suffered the same problem that affects one in four American women. Our list of celebs who have experienced domestic violence stars with Rihanna. The 2009 scandal that broke up hip hop's golden couple reminded us that girl power hasn't knocked out domestic violence. The couple divorced in 1976, after which Tina found her strength and staged the comeback of her career.
