Fantasia and Kendall Taylor Are Married
Fantasia finally got her happy ending. The American Idol winner married her fiancé, Kendall Taylor, in Charlotte, N.C. over the weekend and shared photos from the beautiful event on Instagram.
The singer's big day took place on board a luxury yacht, with a color scheme of red, black and white. "Those who really know me know that I LOVE Water.. Can you see it? How Happy I am.. This Man.." she captioned a photo of herself cuddled up with Taylor on the yacht. "God made him just for Me and me Just For Him.. This Man.. Covers and prays for me and my children EVERY morning.. This Man.. Loves My Father in Heaven and his name is God.. This Man allows me to just be a woman."
It's been a rocky road to the altar for Fantasia, who spent years in an on-again, off-again relationship with Antwaun Cook. Even after she started dating Taylor, Internet sleuths gave the relationship the side-eye, digging up evidence of a criminal past for the Charlotte-based COO of a courier company. But 'Tasia's love persevered.
"No more Hurt because King Kendall will never let that happen.. I'm off to just kiss, Hug and play in some water with This Man.. Look at Him in the pic YEP!! HE COVERS ME.. Be Happy with me you guys cause I've been thru SOOOOO much. Some stuff was my wrong decisions but all I ever really wanted was this.. Real Love. This Man and this smile is real... The 2004 American Idol winner has two children — son Dallas, 3, and daughter Zion, 13 — from previous relationships.
