‘Permit Patty’ LIED! She Did Call 911 On The 8-Year-Old Black Girl And Here's The Audio

Even the dispatcher sounded confused when she said "I have someone who does not have a vendor permit."

UPDATE:

It turns out “Permit Patty” may have to start going by “Lying Lindsey” after a leaked 911 audio call revealed she actually did call the police on an 8-year-old girl selling water.

After Alison Ettel first appeared in the viral video where she held a phone to her ear and said she was calling the cops, she attempted to damage control by telling the San Francisco Chronicle that she was only pretending to call police.

However, in the audio obtained by KTVU, Ettel clearly called a number intended for emergencies in order to report an 8-year-old Black girl was selling bottled water without a permit in front of her house.

“I have someone who does not have a vendor permit that’s selling water across from the ballpark.”

Ettel then requested “someone to talk to about that” and the 911 dispatcher, who even took a moment to pause, told Ettel he would transfer her to the San Francisco Police.

According to San Francisco Police Dispatch records, the call was recorded as a report of a “suspicious person.” KTVU confirmed the call was placed on Ettel’s cell phone.

Alison Ettel, a.k.a. “Permit Patty,” has resigned as the CEO of a marijuana company after facing intense backlash for threatening to call 911 on an 8-year-old Black girl selling bottles of water.

In a statement from a spokesperson for Treatwell Health, a medical marijuana company that offers products to people and pets, the company acknowledged Ettel made a bad choice, but said she was not motivated by racism.

“As a spokesperson for Treatwell Health, we are deeply sorry and regret the incident that occurred this past weekend. A terrible mistake was made that affected a young girl and her family. It is important to know it was never the intention to disparage, harass or cause any harm to the child, nor her Mother. However, in a heated moment, a critically wrong decision was made by our CEO. The guilt lies in that decision, and while it was completely wrong, the act that followed was not motivated by any racist intent whatsoever,” the statement read.

The company added that it is Ettel's wish that employees and patients should not suffer "because of a situation that occurred in an escalated moment."

"Our sole focus as a company is to enrich, heal, and preserve the 1000’s of lives of those patients in need," the California-based company wrote. "We do not seek forgiveness for the act, rather we accept the fact that a very poor decision was made."

Before Ettel stepped down, at least six businesses and dispensaries cut ties with the cannabis company.

While the company praised Ettel as "an incredible asset" for Treatwell and said she is remorseful, many people think “Permit Patty” got exactly what she deserved.
