Odell Beckham, Jr. Is the New 'Heir' of Head & Shoulders
Odell Beckham, Jr. is racking up the bills and changing the grooming game during the off season. The New York Giants wide reciever just landed a lucrative new gig as the face — well, rather, the hair — of Head & Shoulders.
Beckham takes over from Troy Polamalu as the "heir to hair."
"I'm honored to be chosen as the new Head & Shoulders hair ambassador," he said. "Troy Polamalu and his legendary hair have left a big helmet to fill, but I'm ready to take on this role and join the Head & Shoulders family."
The premiere inspirational clip from the Louisiana-born player features fans reliving his famed one-handed catch from last season against the Cowboys. His jersey sold the most of any athlete on NFLShop.com in June of this year, reports ESPN.
Still, Beckham is nervous about following in Polamalu's flowing tresses. "I don't think my hair is as good as Troy's," Beckham told ESPN.com, surely in jest. "But hopefully I can one day live up to his reputation."
The Pittsburgh Steelers player's mane is worth $1 million, according to the books. It's the Guinness World Record for the "Highest Insured Hair."
