A$AP Rocky's Plan to Bring Back Culture to Hip Hop

Rapper reveals Broadway dreams and a new short film.

After earning raves for his feature film acting debut in Dope, A$AP Rocky is ready to take on the rest of show business. In a new interview with The Guardian, Rocky revealed he recently directed a short film and has his eye on TV and even Broadway.
Though Rocky hasn't told us the name of the short film, it does have a very interesting cast. London rap group Piff Gang, Dangermouse, fashion designer Rick Owen’s wife Michele Lamy, and Bristish rappers Novelist and Skepta (who just took the Wireless Festival stage with Drake) all make appearances.

The “L$D” rapper says he has high aims for his career outside of music. “Maybe Broadway; get my theatrical experience in. Or I want to develop my own show, on the Internet and TV,” he says. But he still has a lot of work to do to “bring back actual culture to hip hop.”

Onwards and upwards, Flac.
