According to a report, Russell Westbrook and other players are standing against the Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta, who is a Trump supporter. This is allegedly the reason the NBA athlete may have requested a trade.

Westbrook, 32, first arrived in Houston in July 2019 after spending his first 11 seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder. He will reunite with Wizards head coach, Scott Brooks, after spending seven seasons as player and coach together in Oklahoma City.

The 2017 MVP headed to his Instagram following the news with a slam dunk announcement about the trade

John Wall, 30, has played for the Wizards since 2010 but was sidelined in December 2018 due to a ruptured Achilles tendon injury. Wall has not publicly responded to the trade.
