Adorable Two-Year-Old Boy Abandoned At Mississippi Goodwill Donation Center

The child had a change of clothes and a note.

An adorable two-year-old boy was abandoned at a Goodwill Donation Center in Southaven, Mississippi at around 9:40 a.m. on Dec. 14. He had nothing but a  plastic grocery bag with a note and change of clothes.
A suspect has been arrested, according to police. 

USA Today reports Southaven Police released the following statement, "Southaven Police received numerous tips, and with the assistance of F.B.I. offices in both Mississippi, and Tennessee, along with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department a suspect related to this case was taken into custody in Memphis.”
The statement continued, "We would like to thank all of the citizens who showed concern for the child, rest assured he is well, and being taken care of and will be re-united with family when CPS determines this is proper.”

Goodwill also issued a statement, which read in part, “Upon knowing the child’s circumstances, we immediately reported the situation to police. Our security leaders are working closely with local authorities, including reviewing surveillance footage. At this time, the matter is an ongoing investigation with the police.”

NBC reports surveillance captured a man and woman dropping off the child. The two-year-old child has not been identified.
