Rick Ross Confirms Meek Mill's Album Delay

Philly rapper "doing great" despite being behind bars, says the Maybach Music Group founder, he wants to perfect his sophomore effort, Dreams Worth More Than Money, before its release.

Fans might have to wait until Meek Mill can put that "back home" touch on his upcoming LP, Dreams Worth More Than Money, originally slated to drop today. Rick Ross announced that the album has been pushed back until further notice.

"In true MMG fashion, Meek has dedicated himself to perfecting his sophomore project and it is only right that it should be rolled out exceptionally well," Ross said via statement.

The Philly-bred rapper is currently locked up for a probation violation. He was denied early release and is sentenced to be inside until at least Oct. 11.

"MMG also wants his fans to know that Meek is doing great and he wants to hear from you," Ross continued. "... In the meantime, keep looking out for new music from the project, keep supporting Meek and KEEP DREAMING! #MMG4LIFE."

So far, Meek has unleashed a trailer and two singles, "Off the Corner" and "I Don't Know" featuring Paloma Ford, from the collection. The songs came in May; he was arrested in July.
