DJ Khaled is known for making a statement, whether it’s an exclusive new collaboration bridging new and seasoned rappers, or a social media “proposal” to Nicki Minaj. But the label executive made one of his biggest proclamations to date on Monday (June 30) with the announcement of his own signature headphones.

"Today I am proud to announce that I have partnered with Heads Audio and Bang Olufsen to create the best audio in the marketplace,” Khaled said of his new We The Best Sound headphones in an Instagram post. "We The Best Sound and Heads Audio will provide the listener with the highest quality sound in electronic audio entertainment and will continue to carry on the tradition in excellence set by Bang Olufsen," he continued.

The producer and DJ, who is known for music star-saturated hits "I'm on One," "No New Friends" and "I'm So Hood," enlisted some of his celeb friends for the announcement as well. He posted a video of rappers Juicy J and French Montana supporting the venture.

While Khaled didn't reveal when the headphones will be available for purchase, he is the latest artist to follow the headphones trends. 50 Cent has his own line of audio accessories, in addition to Ludacris, and Dr. Dre, who recently sold his Beats by Dre to Apple for a cool $3 billion.
