Mariah Carey is making a grand entrance to usher in her Las Vegas residency. The superstar will  be the guest of honor at a special “welcome celebration” at Caesars Palace next Monday (April 27) at 6 p.m.

Fans are invited to the special event, which marks Mimi’s official arrival to Sin City, as she wraps up final preparations for “Mariah #1 to Infinity.”

Carey's return to the stage coincides with the May 18 release of her #1 to Infinity album, featuring 18 of her No. 1 hits, along with one new single called, “Infinity.”  Keeping with the number theme, her Vegas set-list will consist of 18 songs (performed together for the first time ever), and she has so far only announced 18 dates. 

The residency debuts at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, May 6.
