Here's What Taylor Swift Learned From Her Beef With Nicki Minaj

The pop star says she's moved on, kind of.

Taylor Swift has had her share of celeb beefs. Some voluntary, and others… well, that's just Kanye. As of her most recent beef with the greatest female rapper alive, Taylor says she wants no part of Ms. Minaj.

In a new interview with NME magazine, Taylor Swift pulled a Beyoncé when asked about her infamous Twitter brawl with Nicki Minaj. “I don't want to talk about it,” she responded. Leaving readers to draw whatever conclusions they may from her brevity.

Without speaking too much, Taylor did acknowledge that incidents like those are beneath her. In fact, she’d rather slide in your inbox, like a real adult. “I send text messages now. If there seems to be some kind of misunderstanding, I go to someone's management, I get their number and I text them. It's an important lesson for anyone to learn in 2015,” she explained.

She also talked about her relationship with 'Ye, the man famously responsible for interrupting her 2009 VMA speech. “Me and Kanye are on such good terms now, six years later,” she said. “It took a while... but I had to tell Beck this story earlier."

Naturally, as Beck was almost a victim of another one of Kanye’s classic “Beyoncé is the greatest of all time” ambushes.

“I was at dinner with Kanye a week after the Grammys, he stops what he's saying and he goes, 'What is this song? I need to listen to this every day,'" she recounted.

“I said, 'It's Beck, it's on an album called 'Morning Phase,' I think you've heard of it …' We just burst out laughing. And he says, 'Hey, sometimes I'm wrong.'”

And there you have it, right before your eyes. Taylor’s Twitter fingers have now turned into texting fingers.
