Look: Shocking Photo Causes Delonte West to Slam Reports That He's Homeless

Here's how the troubled, ex-NBA baller explains that cup and sign on the side of the road.

Delonte West might have his fair share of troubles, but being homeless is allegedly not one of them.

The troubled, ex-NBA player sent a statement to MediaTakeOut on Monday, refuting rumored reports that he's homeless.

“I was helping a homeless man in my neighborhood that’s paralyzed from [the] neck down," West told the celebrity gossip site. "I parked my car and got out to help because it was 90-degree weather and I was feeling blessed at the moment for just having legs.”

His statement came in response to a shocking photo that surfaced on the Internet earlier in the same day, showing him on the side of the road, carrying a sign and cup, appearing to be homeless.

This photo came three months after the ex-NBA guard was spotted wearing a hospital robe without shoes on in a Jack in the Box parking lot in Houston and dancing and mumbling incoherent things to kids in a Maryland strip mall in separate bizarre events this past March. It was later reported that the 32-year-old was being treated for his bipolar disorder.

But when Monday's photo of West surfaced it was feared that he was off his medication and homeless, before West cleared things up with his statement.

While West explained himself, do you believe him?

Hopefully, Delonte is doing OK.
