K. Michelle Announces Sophomore Album Title
K. Michelle has zoned in on a name for her sophomore release, which she officially announced Wednesday (Oct. 29) via a trailer online.
In the clip, Michelle — decked in a curve hugging white lace dress, and fire-engine-red hair — walks through an extravagant mansion, and into a waiting Rolls Royce. As she sits in the back seat, the 30-year-old turns to the camera and utters the album's title: Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?
The album is a follow-up to her Rebellious Soul debut from last year. Her new LP will be cross-categorical, as she explained in an interview with Idolator last month. “I merged a lot of genres,” she said. “I have a country record with a big country artist on it — it’s called 'God, I Get It.' It’s an amazing record. People are going to be really shocked. I want people to know that I don’t f**k around with music. You don’t have to like me, but you’re going to respect me as an artist. That album is [a] global album, and it’s really exciting.”
