Jill Scott Announces 25-City Summer Tour
Jill Scott is hitting the road for a 25-city headlining tour this summer, Billboard reports. The “Fools Gold” singer’s tour begins July 13 at the Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh and ends Aug. 28 in Phoenix.
“Fans have patiently waited four years for new music. When they hear Jill perform live this summer … it’ll be worth the wait,” Scott's business partner said in a statement.
The tour kickoff is timed around the 15-year anniversary of Scott’s debut, Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1. The Grammy-nominated album was released July 18, 2000. Scott will release a new studio album this year, the title of which has not yet been revealed.
