This Woman Went On TV To Blame Her Boyfriend For Murdering Their Infant Daughter But Is Now Joining Him Behind Bars For The Crime

Initially, law enforcement believed only 31-year-old Eric Chu was responsible for killing his daughter.

Raelene Jemison was featured on local television just a week after her 10-month-old daughter was murdered. At the time, police assumed that her boyfriend, 31-year-old Eric Chu, was the lone killer of the infant.

“He deserves everything that is coming to him,” the mother told KSNV. Well, now there’s a twist in the case and it’s now being reported that Jemison isn’t innocent either. The 36-year-old has been taken into custody and charged with second-degree murder.

The whole saga started on January 23, when Chu called 911 at around 4:50 pm to report that Jordyn, the couple’s infant daughter, wasn’t breathing and was convulsing. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, law enforcement was also called to the scene after medical personnel reported they were threatened by Chu.

While Jemison was at work, the father told police that he was giving Jordyn a bath when she suffered a seizure and stopped breathing. That story was found to be contradictory to the injuries found on the young girl, who had reportedly sustained two skull fractures and extensive brain injuries Chu could not explain.

Jordyn later died the next day from blunt force injuries to her head and neck. The Clark County Coroner’s Office ruled her death a homicide.

Where Jemison gets caught up could be complacency and contradictory stories. She reportedly claimed that on multiple occasions that Chu was “too rough with their children,” among other incidents, but later told KSNV that she never “thought he would hurt the kids.” She also told the Review-Journal that she never saw bruises on her children and that her boyfriend was “fine with them.”

It is unclear as to what exactly prompted police to arrest and charge Raelene Jemison.
