Ice T: Men Have Become Too Passive, Politically Correct

Rapper and reality star declares "manhood is dead."

According to Beyoncè, girls run the world...and Ice T has a little bit of a problem with that. The rapper, actor and reality star opened up to The Guardian about his new album, Manslaughter (a project of his metal group Body Count), and the seemingly misogynistic undertones of his lyrics.
"I think right now you’re dealing with the pussyfication of the male sex," the Ice Loves Coco star says. "Men are just being so passive, not standing for something; they’re very politically correct."
He is quick to differentiate between "soft" heterosexual men and what he calls, "the gay male." Says T, "this has nothing to do with the gay male. The gay male is gay and I have no problem with that. Men are just soft. It’s OK to say you want to be a woman, but try to be a man and there’s something wrong with that."
While the rapper fell short of blaming women for man's downfall, he does say that "women want power. But at the same time they’ve made men feel very uncomfortable about speaking about their feelings."
No doubt that Ice T — who has courted controversy from his music since his "Cop Killer" days — will face backlash for his comments from women, the LGBT community and others.
