50 Cent Pens A Rare Emotional Tribute To Fredo Santana After His Passing

He also wants Chief Keef to give him a call.

Since Fredo Santana passed away, the hip-hop world has been reacting all over social media.

Perhaps one of the most profound messages about the Chicago rapper after news broke that he died is what 50 Cent put up on Instagram.

In a rare emotional tribute, Fif detailed how he planned to work with Fredo at some point in some capacity. He also, of course, sent his condolences to his family.

“R.l.P Fredo, l liked Sosa’s (S**T l DON’T LIKE) when l first seen it. the s**t was just raw, the beauty of hip hop is when it’s your time nothing can stop you,” he captioned under a pic of Fredo and cousin Chief Keef. “Fredo stood out to me.l was like, now that n***a crazy and I’m a little crazy so l watched him. When he said he looked up to me, l wanted to work with him but we didn’t get the chance to do anything. When l heard he passed l didn’t know what to say. To his family l send my condolence. SOSA call my phone.”

Santana (real name Derrick Coleman) was known mostly for helping introduce Chicago's drill music takeover back in 2012 with the aid of Keef. He is survived by one son who was born in 2017.
