Jahlil Okafor Victim: He's Just Mad He Got Swerved By Chicks

76ers center allegedly caused a serious eye injury.

UPDATE: About three weeks prior to his street fight in Boston, Jahlil Okafor was reportedly stopped for speeding, driving 108 miles per hour on Philadelphia's Ben Franklin Bridge.

The combination of that reckless driving incident and his street fight caused the Philadelphia 76ers rookie center to take to his Twitter account Sunday and offer an apology and re-commitment to the game without any such distractions.

PREVIOUSLY: If Jahlil Okafor's punch victim's story holds any truth, the NBA star got heated because his pride was shot.

According to TMZ, the alleged heckler who got punched in the face by Okafor said that 76ers center only got violent because he was rejected by two women with whom he was flirting while in Boston.

The Boston Police Department states that the victim filed a police report on Friday morning claiming that Okafor hit him so hard in the face that he suffered a cut above his eye that required stitches.

Okafor's side of the story is that he was swarmed by a group of hecklers outside of Storyville nightclub, but the victim said that entire account is false. He claims that Okafor approached two women who were hanging with him at the time and tried to get their numbers, but they weren't interested. The victim claims that words between him and the athlete were exchanged before Okafor rushed at him, punching him in the face.

According to the Boston PD, detectives are "actively investigating the incident." No charges have been filed as of yet.
