Antonio Brown’s Second Accuser Says He Sent ‘Intimidating’ Texts And Referenced Her Kids

The NFL is investigating the latest claims against the Patriots' wide receiver.

Another day, another accusation of disturbing behavior levied against Patriots wide receiver Antonio Brown

According to Sports Illustrated, the woman who accused Brown of making untoward sexual advances while she was commissioned to paint a mural at his home is now saying that Brown sent her intimidating text messages on Wednesday (Sept. 18) evening.

The woman, through her lawyer, says she received a group text message from Brown.

The text chain, with four other phone numbers, included a photo of her and her children, with Brown allegedly telling others in the group to investigate the woman. Brown allegedly accused the artist of making up the 2017 incident for money.

It should be noted, the woman believes these text messages are from Brown as they originated from a cell number he provided her in 2017.

In a letter to the NFL, through her attorney, the woman is asking for the league to intervene on the matter.

The NFL is not a lawmaking or legal body. The most they could do is suspend or possibly ban Brown if as a result of their ongoing investigation they believe he’s “damaged the shield.”

The letter contains screenshots of the text message in which the texter, alleged to be Brown, clearly makes it seem as though the woman is making up the story as a means to make money.

The woman is referred to as a “super broke girl” by Brown, and he asks someone he refers to as “Eric B” to “look up her background history.”

There is also a screenshot of an Instagram photo with the woman and her kids that Brown follows with a text that says, “those her kids... she’s awful broke clearly.”

What makes this matter extremely strange beyond the circumstances surrounding the original allegations is that Brown is seemingly communicating with his business or legal team.

His lawyer, Darren Heitner, is one of the people in the group text.

Why would he include the woman accusing him in this group text?

The woman’s lawyer, Lisa J. Banks, said the conduct by Brown is “intimidating and threatening to our client, in violation of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.”

Banks’ letter to the NFL continues:

“Our client ... is understandably frightened by these text messages, which are clearly intended to threaten and intimidate her,” the lawyer wrote. “While she certainly qualifies as a ‘starving artist,’ she has never approached Mr. Brown, nor will she, about seeking money to compensate her for his sexual misconduct, contrary to his allegations in the text messages.”

The NFL has already set up a call between their investigators and the lawyers representing the woman.

Again, these are all allegations and there have been no criminal charges filed against Brown.

But this situation continues to get ugly.
