Our Princess! Duchess Meghan Markle Launches Clothing Line And Wears Princess Diana's Jewelry To Fanfare From The Internet

Clothing from the line is donated to charity with each purchase from the capsule collection!

Meghan Markle is having a good year despite all her doubters and critics! Meghan recently announced her charitable capsule collection after guest editing the coveted September issue of British Vogue. She's been working on all these projects while also giving birth to her first child, baby Archie! This woman cannot be stopped.

Meghan Markle has returned to her royal duties! She definitely doesn't take her role as the Duchess of Sussex lightly and continues to make positive change, partnering with various charitable organizations. Before the launch of her capsule collection with the charity Smart Works, the Duchess of Sussex made a statement saying, "Since moving to the U.K., it has been deeply important to me to meet with communities and organizations on the ground doing meaningful work and to try to do whatever I can to help them amplify their impact." And she's doing just that!

Meghan partnered with John Lewis & Partners, Marks and Spencer, Jigsaw and, her personal friend Misha Nonoo to design and donate five pieces for her collection, She described the Smart Set by saying it's “Not a handout, a hand, held.” As a royal patron to Smart Works, Meghan is combining her love for philanthropy and fashion to dedicate her expertise to the U.K.-based organization that helps women to find job-appropriate clothing for employment opportunities while also offering styling tips. For each item purchased from the collection within the next two weeks, one item will be donated to the charity and given to a Smart Works client.

At her launch event, Meghan officially released the five pieces of the collection: the Marks & Spencer crepe shift dress for ($32), the tote bag from John Lewis ($138), a blazer ($245) and slim-fit trousers ($148) from Jigsaw, and the classic white button-down for ($125) by Misha Nonoo. Meghan stepped out wearing the Jigsaw set while also reportedly honoring her late mother-in-law by wearing Princess Diana's butterfly earrings and a gold cuff bracelet.
