If Hall of Famers Michael Jordan and Larry Bird played in a game of one-on-one, who would win?

Bird, the president of the Indiana Pacers, was hit with that exact hypothetical question Monday on the Dan Patrick Show.

At 58, Bird said there's no way he could touch his Airness, who's six years younger.

"Could I take Jordan? Where's this going? Can I wear my Hickory uniform? Boy, that'd be a good game," Bird said at first. "I hate to admit this, but he'd kill me. I'm 40 pounds more than I was when I played, I'm broken-down, I really don't care like I used to, I have a fight in me but it's not the fight that I once had...but it'd be a pretty close game."

Hmm...we wonder if Magic Johnson thinks he could defeat MJ one-on-one?

That stems from Jordan's comments last month, when he said he could beat some of the Hornets players.

"He can believe whatever he wants," Bird said. "He'd have to prove that to me. Man, [star athletes have] to let this stuff go. That's just ridiculous."

Bird also debated about Stephen Curry and whether the NBA MVP and newly-crowned champion is the best shooter of all time.

"I don't know about that," Bird said. "Chris Mullin was pretty good. [But] deep shooter, Curry is about one of the best."

Bird put himself in that category, too, seconds later, proving his legendary confidence hasn't completely died out just yet.
