It’s a generation gap too so I guess there’s little respect issues and where the Diddy and Drake line is, but I don’t know how far their relationship goes. There’s issues that be happening between the generations where you feel that there’s a little respect that should be happening.”(Photo: Prince Williams/FilmMagic)

Clearance Block - One partcular song that's been talked about but didn't make the Young OG album was an all-star collaboration. Fab explained, “There was a song with me, Nicki and Trey Songz. We had some clearance issues come from out of nowhere. After you record the song and do the work, it becomes a whole other job just trying to get songs cleared. I understand it’s their work and they want to get paid for it but they shouldn’t just withhold or stop you from [using the music]. It’s really hurtful too after you’ve made a song and put all this work and they come back and say 'no.'”(Photos from Left: Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images, Anthony Harvey/Getty Images for MTV, Mireya Acierto/BET/Getty Images for BET)

"King of New York" - Fab considers himself “a” King of New York but feels the fighting for the crown caused NY to lose it’s top spot. The Brooklyn MC expressed, “It’s like a barbershop conversation where everyone sits around and says who's the king. ... Someone would say Jay, Nas, Diddy  or Biggie or whoever, but all those guys were kings within theirself and just happen to be from N.Y. So I feel like you can be 'a' king of New York without having to make the argument of being 'the' king of New York.”   (Photo: Mr. Blue/WENN.com)

Jackin' for Beats - Brooklyn’s finest revealed that he’s been in a few discrepancies over beats in the past as well when artists end up with the same track from a producer. This is a hit single for me.’ We had dinner wither her, wined and dined her and she gave it up.”(Photos from left: John Ricard / BET, John Phillips/Getty Images)

Crew Love - The Breakfast Club also probed Fab on his allegiance to DJ Clue and Desert Storm and he noted that his choice to ride with Desert Storm was about original loyalty. “Me and Clue have had arguments and disagreements. That’s part of friendship," he said. Later he added, "When we first got signed, we were at Interscope and I guess they fired Clue and they asked me did I want to stay or leave with Clue and Desert Storm. I chose to leave and go with Desert Storm because that’s who brought me in there. Even though it was hard to walk away from a record deal that you just got, I stuck with my guns and rode with loyalty.”(Photo: Jerritt Clark/Getty Images)

Brothers Gonna Work It Out - Fabolous and Ray J got into a little scuffle back in 2011 that escalated when Brandy’s little brother threatened to send the "booty goons" for the Brooklyn MC. Tensions have long cooled and Fab explained their encounters since.“I’ve seen Ray J a few times," he said, "and at first it was more awkward because people were waiting around to see if something was going to pop off and I even had to tell them, ‘No, I’m not looking for you,’ because it would just be a tension. They were trying to have a sit-down, Farrakhan type of meeting about it but I was like we don’t need to do that. We not having a sit-down about that, it’s not that serious. We don’t need to get Russell Simmons and all that involved.” (Photos from left:  Jamie McCarthy/Getty Images, Bennett Raglin/BET/Getty Images)

I like putting the things together and I will star in it because it’s my thing but I think if I wanted to become a full-fledged actor, I would need some help. Now my brother, Paul Caine, he’s an actor. He’s low key really an actor and I think he should go to Hollywood and pursue that.”(Photo: JCalderon / Splash News)

Digital Divide - Fab may have had some sample issues with Young OG, but one issue he didn’t have trouble with was getting the green light from his son Johan to be used on the cover. Fab joked, “I didn’t pay him. That’s the price of being my son; you do what I ask you to do.”He also revealed why he was releasing the album as a digital release only. “That conventional way of pushing records is dead and that was my whole thing going into this, that’s why I said release it digital because a lot of things are going digital. It’s not even a lot of CD stores. I think when you do physicals… I wanted to do physicals as a piece of art where you make a certain number of them and people say, ‘... I got 1/10,000 made.’” (Photo: Def Jam)
