Here's Why Kevin Durant Will Be Making His Oakland Debut Early

Save this date for the Warriors' newest star.

Dub Nation won't have to wait until this fall to see the newest Golden State Warriors superstar, Kevin Durant, in Oracle Arena.

That's because KD will touch down at Oracle Arena in the Bay Area on Tuesday night, when Team USA faces China in an exhibition game for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Durant was booed Sunday night at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. That will change in Oakland on Tuesday night.

"I'm excited to go to Oakland as a member of the Warriors," Durant told ESPNthree weeks after he left Oklahoma City to sign with Golden State. "We'll see. I don't know what to expect. I'm just going to go up there, be my normal self and do my normal routine."

He'll have company in the form of his Warriors' and Team USA teammates, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green.

We have already watched the trio play together during this exhibition run on the road to Rio.

Now, just imagine how Oakland and Dub Nation faithful are going to respond to KD at the Oracle.

It's going to be a taste of things to come this 2016-17 season for sure.

KD, Stephen Curry, Klay and Draymond...get ready.
