Despite Receipts, Suspect in Fetty Wap's Robbery Denies He Had Anything to Do With It

He says he wishes he did it, though.

It's not a very common occurrence that a suspect says that, while they didn't commit the crime they are being pegged for, they boldly wished they did.

However, such appears to be the case with the recent suspect allegedly behind the recent robbery incident that Fetty Wap fell victim to.

As reportedRaheem "Fuzz" Thomas has since been arrested in conjunction with the situation, an unfortunate incident that quickly escalated into a shootout that injured three people inside a deli in New Jersey. According to Fuzz, police have got the wrong guy.

While Fetty himself was not injured and has been ruled out as a suspect, he is reportedly refusing to cooperate with the police department's investigation into the matter.

Although an incriminating self-portrait ties Fuzz to the dispute, the suspect has taken to Instagram to deny that he was directly involved, saying that just about everyone in the neighborhood was taking celebratory pictures with Fetty's stolen "1738" diamond-encrusted pendant that night.

“Just to set the record straight. I personally didn’t take @fettywap1738 chain," the Muscle Team CEO shared in a now-private Instagram post. "I’m not responsible for no one else action but my own. I don’t have a personal problem [with] Fetty Wap. He just a good kid in the way. How he got his chain taken I don’t know and I don’t care. That’s none of my business. Did I take a picture with it? Yes. The whole down the hill got a picture with it on…I will love to take the credit for it but unfortunately, my Instagram is no liar."

Fuzz is currently facing charges of aggravated assault and three weapons possession offenses.
