Boy Bye! Rihanna Curves The Super Bowl Halftime Show In Support Of Colin Kaepernick

She's rumored to have been the NFL's first choice.

Always one to speak her mind, Rihanna has been crystal clear about her political stance. Along with supporting Hillary Clinton and urging fans to vote in public, RiRi has been living up to it behind the scenes.

Most recently the Anti songstress happily declined the NFL's offer to grace the stage at the 2019 Super Bowl Halftime Show.

Rihanna was allegedly the NFL's first choice, per Vulture. A source told the publication, "The NFL and Fox really wanted Rihanna to be next year’s performer in Atlanta. They offered it to her, but she said no because of the kneeling controversy. She doesn’t agree with the NFL’s stance. She supports Colin Kaepernick.”

While Rihanna curved this year's Super Bowl, Maroon 5 has reportedly signed on to grace the stage with rumored appearances from Travis Scott and Cardi B.

RiRi isn't the only celeb curving the NFL due to the recent controversy.

Last fall, reports surfaced that Jay-Z also refused to participate in the halftime festivities due to the ongoing controversy surrounding the kneeling protest.
