Rihanna Calls Rosaline Avila and Ashawnty Davis Suicides 'Heartbreaking' and For An End To Bullying

"My heart breaks for you."

Tragic bullying cases have been pushed into the spotlight recently and two of the saddest include the cases of 13-year-old Rosalie Avila and 10-year-old Ashawnty Davis.

Both young girls committed suicide due to bullying and their viral stories recently got the attention of Rihanna.

The Barbarian pop singer took to Instagram to reflect on the untimely deaths and to discourage bullying, which affects hundreds of thousands of kids daily.

“Just heartbreaking!!!!! We're losing our babies to bullying!!! Teach your kids love and equality. Teach them about the beauty in uniqueness and how to embrace others' differences!” Ri Ri captioned under a pic of the two girls and writing on their stories. “I can't imagine what the families of these 2 young girls are feeling right now! But my heart breaks for you!! #BulliesKill.”

Rosalie Avila reportedly committed suicide by hanging after being bullied at school for having braces. She was described as a loving and warm student who earned good grades and has aspirations of becoming a lawyer.

Ashawnty Davis also reportedly hung herself after a fight video involving her made its way onto social media. She had ambitions of growing to play in the WNBA.

Rihanna's voice on the two tragic deaths comes after complaints that the each of the stories didn't get recognition in the wake of video of Keaton Jones, who is white, went viral for simply complaining about being bullied.
