Look at Why President Obama's 140-Character Love Letter to Michelle Went Viral Instantly

Plus, see how the 'Gram and Twitter reacted to her incredible DNC speech.

Michelle Obama stole the show Monday night during her speech at the first night of the Democratic National Convention. She remarked on how amazing it is, and how far we've come as a nation, that a Black president and his family can live in a house that was built by slaves. Adding that, in many ways, Hillary Clinton can do the same for women what her husband has done for America's Black community.

Her stirring speech left many in the audience, and at home, in tears. Barack Obama was one of those moved by the speech, and tweeted out a love letter to his wife and first lady. Michelle's speech and Barack's heartfelt reaction was just another moment that made many Americans proud that these two have led our country for eight years.

Obama tweeted out just moments after his wife finished her speech, and the tweet went viral in minutes, garnering more than 140,000 retweets and 390,000 likes.

The President was far from the only person to tweet their awe at Michelle's incredible speech.

Fans of the first lady also took to Instagram to share memes of support and adoration. Some even continued to compare Michelle to Melania Trump, who was infamously caught plagiarizing one of Michelle's former speeches at the Republican National Convention.

It's clear that when President Obama leaves office, we will also be losing one of, if not, the most poised, graceful, and intelligent first ladies in the history of America as well.

Her speech reminded many, including her husband, why we should be proud of our country.
